Experience

I began my career as a Bank Examiner for the Comptroller of the Currency working out of the branch in Dallas, Texas, where I stayed for one year.  I then began work at First National Bank of Dallas where I stayed for five years as an Assistant Vice President managing various departments in the credit administration division of the bank.  I also spent five years working for a computer company, Hogan Systems, developing Requirements Definitions for large international banks for the design of loan and foreign exchange computer systems.

I have taught at N-Tech for the past eight years teaching various subjects:  Algebra I, Latin and Greek Roots I and II, Ancient Olympics, Critical Thinking, Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and Accounting.

Personal

I have been married for almost 30 years to Randy and have three children.  I have home schooled all of my children since day-one.  My oldest son, Michael, is a junior at Texas A&M University studying Mechanical Engineering.  My second son, Preston, is also at Texas A&M University studying Architecture.  My youngest, Katrina, is a sophomore with plenty of dreams ahead of her.

For the past 22 years, I have worked for my husband taking care of his books for his architectural company.

I enjoy researching and planning new classes for students to expand their knowledge in the home schooled environment.  This has included AP studies, CLEP, SAT, and PSAT.
