Artist, Beth Cook lived in the Dallas area for many years and attended Southern
Methodist University. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art
Education, she taught in the Dallas School District. She and her husband
eventually opened their own Gallery and picture framing business. After
some years following the birth of her son, they moved to the mountains of
Montana.
Montana has a spectacular landscape and Beth painted and sold her work in the
galleries there as well as teaching art classes to children and adults.
The beauty of the landscape continued to be her subject, but portraits were also
her passion and strength. Recently, relocating to the McKinney area, Beth
continues to pursue her passion of art and teaching.
