Erin Britten
God captured my heart when I learned He loved me unconditionally; it was my freshman year of college. For the next 11 years I was involved in youth ministry. I also changed my major to mathematics and was certified to teach secondary education. I taught in an inner-city school district for 3 years.
The Lord blessed my husband and I with our first child. It was our desire that I would stay home full-time with our children. I enjoyed teaching my son about everything! As our family grew, our desire grew to educate and train our children at home. I have been home schooling our children the last 10 years.
Now that my children are older, God has encouraged me to step out and find another avenue through which I may serve Him and others. God has blessed me with this teaching position at THEO. I am so excited about the opportunity to teach older students!
Rob and I have been married 14 years. Andrew is 10, Matthew is 8, and Lydia is 6. We had been living in Ohio until we moved to Dallas- a little more than 2 years ago. Again the Lord has blessed us “immeasurably more than all we could have asked for or imagined”. We love living here!
