Our homeschooling journey began after our eldest daughter had completed two years in a private school in California. God brought us to Texas and surrounded us with successful homeschool families that have provided encouragement along the way.

After teaching homeschool classes for many years I’ve come to realize that I am most successful as a “guide alongside.” For students who are interested in the subject or those who simply will complete the homework as assigned, I have had success. I am not the teacher you are looking for if your son/daughter needs a disciplinarian or watchdog.

I’ve always believed that if you ask three homeschool moms of three children each the correct way to homeschool, if they’re doing it right, you’ll get nine different answers!
