General Science - Apologia

Meets: Thursday 1:15 – 2:30
Class Description: Apologia General Science introduces students to the scientific method, designing experiments, simple machines, archaeology, geology, paleontology, biology, earth science topics, anatomy and physiology. Obviously this is a broad scope! We will tackle each topic with many experiments with the students requiring approximately an hour of homework each week.
Prerequisites: None
Maximum number of students: 8
Homework: A minimum of one hour per week.
Cost: $50
Supplies that the students should bring to class: Textbook—Exploring Creation with General Science (ISBN 1-932012-06-0) The new edition is available and can be used, but the older edition is also suitable!
In addition to bringing your own textbook, please bring paper, pencil, map pencils and a 3” binder with pockets
