Meets: Thursday 2:30 - 3:25

Class Description:  Format Writing is a road map for developing expository writing skills. Expository writing teaches the student how to inform, clarify, and persuade. This type of writing is the foundation to the communication skills used throughout a lifetime. Format Writing teaches the student how to organize material and how to write quickly. Writing skills to be covered will include the following: sentence structure, basic paragraph styles, essays in five-paragraph format, SAT essay practice, and one MLA standard research paper.

Maximum number of students: 10

Homework: 1 - 3 hours per week 

Cost:  $50 Monthly Fee; $15 Materials Fee
