Anatomy and Physiology

Class Description: The text book used will be Apologia's Human Body - Fearfully and Wonderfully Made by Dr. Jay Wile. This is Apologia's advanced biology course.
In order to take this course, the student MUST have completed a first-year biology course AND a first-year chemistry course. It covers both the anatomy and the physiology of the human body’s 11 organ systems in detail. This will be a study of all the systems of the human body as well as a course in comparative anatomy. The students will gain experience using a high power microscope (1000X) as well as do extensive dissections in this course.
This class will use Apologia Biology II textbook.
Prerequisites: The student must have completed Biology and Chemistry.
Maximum number of students that you will allow to take this class: 12
Cost per student (numeric only): $70 per month (September - May)
Homework: This class will require extensive homework.
