Fun With Shakespeare

Class Description: Step back in time to Elizabethan England and explore the world of Shakespeare through his histories, tragedies, comedies, and sonnets. This is a hands-on literature study, where students will get a chance to perform a tragedy and comedy of their choice. No acting experience required! Students will also learn about Shakespeare, the poet, and try their hand at writing their own sonnet.
Maximum number of students: 16
Homework: Minimal line memorization
Cost: $60 month which includes the cost of printing their scripts.
Supplies that the students should bring to class: Tales From Shakespeare, Charles and Mary Lamb
