Biological Bases of behavior introduces the structure and function of nervous, endocrine and sensory systems. Students will examine the reasons for normal human reactions: How people learn and think, and will gather information and synthesize it with real-world application. We will distinguish between science and assumption and discuss these assumptions from a Christian worldview. The philosophy is to make psychology relevant, interesting and approachable via current issues, case studies and activities.
