Class Description: This course will be a basic digital photography class with weekly assignments. We will focus on the basic elements of photography including lighting, framing, capturing light, using color, contrast and tone, removing distractions, cropping and more. The weekly assignments will include photographing people, landscapes, nature, animals, architecture, technical pictures, sports and motion, photojournalism - telling a story, and others. Any kind of digital camera can be used - whether you have a point-and-click camera or an SLR.

Homework: Minimal

Cost:  $35 per month

Supplies that the students should bring to class:  Camera; A textbook for the class will be purchased by the instructor - the cost for this book is $15
