Calligraphy

Ages:  12-99

Meets:  Monday  8 weeks, 9/15 - 11/10 (no class 10/6)

Class Description:   Intro to Calligraphy - Modern Italic

This fun class will include an amazing combination of art and craft with some interesting tidbits of history, religion, science, language arts and math all thrown in? No, this isn't World Views! In fact, you might not even notice how these subjects "sneak" in until later. And, yes, the great majority of the time is spent on calligraphy. You'll love it!

Prerequisites:  A desire to learn this skill and patience with yourself

Minimum/Maximum number of students: 5/12

Tuition: $110 for the 8 week session.  Payable at registration.

Homework:  Weekly practice time

Supply fee:  $20 per student

Supplies that the students should bring to class: apron or smock, a few paper towels, pencil, 12" ruler, students should wear old clothes - the ink stains
