Angles, Angle Constructions
Reasoning, Proofs, Deductive Proofs
Congruence
Analysis of Triangles, Circles and Quadrilaterals
Pythagorean Theorem
Spherical Geometry
Transformations and Symmetry
Similarity
Introduction to Trigonometry
The student will gain a thorough knowledge of all aspects of Euclidean Geometry and Deductive Reasoning during our yearlong study of Geometry. Critical thinking and problem solving are very important parts of this curriculum and both will serve the student well as they progress into the higher level classes.
Prerequisites: Contact teacher
Maximum number of students: 10
Homework: Three to four hours per week
Cost: $50 per month
Supplies that the students should bring to class: Bob Jones Geometry textbook 3rd edition 2007
