American History for High School

Teacher:  Lori Einfalt

Grades: 9 - 12

Meets:  Tuesday

Class Description: Seeking to cover all the nuances of American History in one year is a daunting task.  This course will use Bob Jones United States History for Christian Schools, Third Edition as a source text. By the end of the year, students will have “read their way” through the entire history of our country from a strong Biblically centered point of view. In class, we will seek to focus on key events and individuals that are most important for students to think about and remember. Veritas Press cards, Dave Stotts “Drive Thru History America” series, as well as other various source texts will be pulled in to help accomplish that goal. History should be exciting and fun!  This class will seek to make studying American History just that.  Most importantly, focus will be placed on God’s part of our American story.  Since He is the true author.
