History of the World - Jr. High

Class Description: Using Abeka History of the World as a spring board, this class will study the significant time periods in our world history.  The goal of the course is to enable students to “think their way through” 32 major events in world history.  Added sources will include Veritas Press cards, Hillier’s History of the Word, and various other historical titles to help history “come alive” to the students.  Some basic geography will also be included.  Students will be encouraged to view the history of the world through the lens of God’s Word, giving an accurate picture of His story unfolding.

Prerequisites: None

Maximum number of students: 12

Homework: 1-2 hours per week

Cost:  $45 per month, $10 one time supply fee for copies

Supplies that the students should bring to class: 

3 ring notebook with paper
