Advanced Math - Summer Session
In response to a request from my students, I have put
together a syllabus for a third semester of Adv Math for the summer. (I have
scheduled a week off for camps in the middle of the term.) The homework load
will be heavier than during the school year, but I'm hoping meeting three days
in a row will help them keep up. The class will be $160.
Please note, many
students have done well in College Algebra without completing the entire Adv
Math textbook. Completing the entire book is not required by CCCC. I do
recommend that you complete it before attempting Calculus, but again it's not
required.
I
will not be offering the third semester in the fall because I needed to make
room in my schedule for Saxon Physics.
It would be greatly appreciated if you
would let your friends at other co-ops know about the class even if you decide
it's not for you!
